With the US Presidential elections just around the corner, and the candidates and VP’s all selected, the race to the White House is underway. Colinne Bartel (Moderator)

Tanja Bender (Panelist)
Tanja has been the head of Candriam Germany & Austria since March 2020. Tanja joined CANDRIAM in 2018 as a Senior Client Relationship Manager covering Whole-Sale and Institutional Investors. Before joining CANDRIAM, Tanja was Co-Country Head at Métropole Gestion. Tanja started her career with the German bank education at Commerzbank AG, passing several additional educational steps in private banking, finance, asset management and her sales coaching diploma. Tanja holds the Banking Business Economist diploma of Bankenakademie Frankfurt. With 145B€ under management, Candriam is a global multi-specialist asset manager and a recognized pioneer and leader in sustainable investment. Frank Pöpplow (Panelist)
Frank joined Federated Hermes in January 2020, having been a managing director for the European entity of Federated Asset Manangement GmbH since 2006. Prior to this, he was a general manager at attrax S.A in Luxemburg. He spent 14 years at DZ Bank in several roles, most recently as Head of Business Development for retail investment products for the German union banking sector (Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken). Frank has a degree in Economics from the Friedrich-Wilhelms-University of Bonn. Dr. Thomas Gitzel (Panelist)
Tom Gitzel is chief economist of VP Bank Group. He holds a Dr. oec. the University of Stuttgart-Hohenheim. He completed his economics studies at the University of Tübingen and the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Dr. Tom Gitzel works as a lecturer at various universities in Germany and at the University of Liechtenstein. According to the FAZ economist ranking, Tom Gitzel is the most cited banking economist in German-speaking countries. VP Bank Group is an internationally oriented banking group and one of Liechtenstein’s largest banks. The bank was founded 1956. It has offices in Vaduz, Zurich, Luxembourg, Singapore, Hong Kong and Tortola (British Virgin Islands).
Diego Föllmi (Panelist)
Diego is the Managing Partner & CEO at Hérens Quality Asset Management AG (HQAM). He holds a master’s degree in Banking & Finance from the University of Zürich and his career began at Credit Suisse in 1999, before he joined HQAM in 2007. Since then, Diego Föllmi has led the Sales & Acquisitions Team, has been a member of the Management Board and has been leading the company as the CEO & Partner since 2016. As a capital market expert, he has been active in the international financial markets for more than 20 years. He has been in charge of portfolio management and investment strategy at well-known financial institutions. Andreas Dagasan has successfully managed special and mutual funds and has received numerous honours and awards for his work. He is an expert in portfolio management, asset allocation and asset matters, as well as long-term economic analyses, risk management and tactical investment decisions. Derivatives, hedge funds, short selling, volatility trading and hedging. At Citywire, he moderates panels, roundtables and heads the editorial and events in the DACH region.
