The Munich Start-Up Scene – The start-up way
What makes an entrepreneur? What do they do differently? Why do they do what they do? Starting a business is hard work and is stressful – so why do it, and not just get a 9 to 5 job?
We will be answering these and more questions in an exciting debate with a panel of four Munich based entrepreneurs at the October AGBC Munich Monthly meeting. Called “The Start Up Way”, we have invited Professor Doctor Nadine Chochoiek of Munich Business School to moderate the panel.
A dynamic entrepreneur, Nadine has a Ph.D. from the LMU Munich and the Max-Planck Institute for Innovation and Competition. Specializing in studying the personalities of entrepreneurs and the factors that contribute to their success, she is the ideal moderator for this energetic panel. Her expertise extends to the structural elements that enable or hinder entrepreneurial achievement. She is Professor for Innovation & Entrepreneurship at Munich Business School.
The panel consists of four founders / co-founders of new businesses:

The ticket price includes entry to the event, a networking buffet, and one drink. Ticket prices are €39 for AGBC Munich members, 49€ for Guests, and €29€ for students.
Conditions of Cancellation: Please note that your registration and payment are considered binding. We are unable to make refunds. However, you may send a replacement to the meeting if you are unable to attend.

Being a guest at the Munich Marriott for 25 years, we will have a close look at their brand-new hotel Munich Marriott Hotel City West on Landsberger Straße 156 for our October meeting.
The Munich Marriott Hotel City West is offering a special tour of the hotel at 1730, prior to the monthly meeting. Those interested should meet at 5:30 PM in the Lobby – Munich Marriott Hotel City West. The visit will start at 1745 and will return to the meeting room by 1830. You are free to attend the tour, without taking part in the Monthly Meeting later that evening.
