Europe’s Hotspot or Underserved Opportunity?
AGBC Munich invites you to an evening with Tina Höfinghoff, Senior Advisor and ex-CEO of Munich Innovation Ecosystem GmbH. The event takes place on October 23rd starting at 7pm at the Marriott Hotel, Berliner Straße 93, 80805 München. Tina will give insight and comment on the vibrant innovation and start-up world in Munich that she has been at the heart of since 2015.
Ten years ago, Tina Höfinghoff became CEO of Munich Innovation Ecosystem GmbH, joining forces with shareholders Prof. Helmut Schönenberger, Prof. Klaus Sailer, and Prof. Matthias Notz. As the only inter-university legal entity in Germany, the company was founded with the goal of fostering Munich’s innovation and start-up ecosystem. The Munich Innovation Ecosystem acts as a unifying platform for innovative startups, corporates, academia, and the public sector. Over the past decade, numerous initiatives, projects, and companies have been launched under this mission.
Tina now serves as Senior Advisor, and continues to support the company’s efforts to promote, connect, and shape the ecosystem. She is a connector and company builder with 20 years’ experience establishing and leading curated exchange formats to enhance innovation and transatlantic collaboration and committed to harnessing entrepreneurship to strengthen democratic values. Based in Munich. Tina is also a strategic partner in fostering transatlantic encounters, with a strong focus on democracy building.
As a dedicated Transatlanticist and passionate networker, she launched the Transatlantic Hub initiative in 2023, creating in-person and digital exchange formats featuring leading thinkers and personalities on topics of democratic and transatlantic relevance. Tina actively connects the dots by setting agendas and bringing together stakeholders from politics, business, and society, offering a platform for new perspectives.
