In this discussion we will look at the current situation of the war in Ukraine as well the future of the country in terms of its economy, industries, and relationship with the EU.

Born in 1983 in Jewpatorija on the Crimean peninsula, Dmytro studied German and law at the Universität Dnipro before completing his Masters at the FU Berlin in 2006. Since 2007 he has worked in the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, serving from 2009-2011 at the Ukrainian Embassy in Washington (Protokoll) and then from 2011-2014 at the Ukrainian Embassy in Berlin (Press Attaché). From 2014-2016, he was the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry’s advisor for Strategic Communications. Since January 2017, he has served in the Consulate General of Ukraine in Munich with a focus on politics, business and economics, and inter-regional relations. Dymtro is married and has two children.
