Magdale Henke is a Lawyer. Singer-Songwriter and  Inspirational Speaker. She is  a believer in the power of persistence. She knows first-hand what it’s like to overcome obstacles as well as the preconceived notions of others.  She has been running her own solo US immigration law firm in Germany for 15 years; became a mother at 45 through adoption; a performing artist at 50, and is an award-winning singer-songwriter.   She is also passionate about spreading the word about the benefits of “Grateful living”.   She is a trained  facilitator on the topic through the non-profit organization A Network for Grateful Living, Inc., hosting monthly “Grateful Gatherings”, as well as a “Gratitude Lounge: Uplifting Songs & Stories” livestream, under her artist name, Mag Dalé.

Paul Salazar:

The New Frontier of Discovery: The James Webb Space Telescope

Entrepreneur and amateur astronomer Paul Salazar sits at a cross-section of different paths in life. Stemming from Mexican and Armenian roots, he’s a native of Los Angeles. His 40-year software and tech career led him up the California coastline to Silicon Valley before diverting across the globe to Munich, Germany. Despite Paul’s journeys across our planet, he’s always had his eyes on the skies. His passion for astronomy is something that he wants to share with the world around him. A natural teacher, he wants to not only improve the world but enrich it; it is Paul’s ultimate goal to use his knowledge, passion, and zest for the stars as a driving force for minds (young and old) around him.

Since starting operations in July 2022, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) has already provided us with some of the most stunning images of our Solar System, galaxy and universe. Dramatically impacting our understanding of the early universe, the JWST employs very sensitive technology to see farther back in time than any other telescope. This talk will showcase the exciting first years of discoveries and images while providing a look into the next years ahead.
