4 Questions to Jennifer Canale
Beinur joined AGBC Munich in 2018.
Since when do you live in/around Munich? What brought you here and what is your business?
I moved to Munich in 2003 with my husband for his job opportunity. A year later I was employed in Software Channel Sales for the EU headquarters of a Boston based company, and enjoyed an international career for many years.
In 2018, my husband and I founded Higgins Ale Works, a small craft beer brewery and taproom located in the heart of Munich’s beer brewing district. We brew handcrafted American styles like IPA and Pale Ales.
How did you learn about AGBC, what was your reason to become a member and why would you recommend to join?
I learned about AGBC in 2016 through my membership with a Munich-based professional women’s network, looking to meet business people based in Munich and to develop my local connections.
If you could choose one of the next AGBC event topics, what would it be?
I would like to hear further from Entrepreneurs/Start Ups based in Munich. I wish to learn more about the city of Munich’s economic initiatives to support entrepreneurs. Last year’s Start Up discussion at Marriott West was appreciated for the diverse panelists’ experiences..
What is your favorite spot/activity in Munich (or surroundings) and why?
We enjoy the craft beer scene, slow food, and live music. And we like to spend time in the Alps for hiking.
Thanks, Jen!
