4 Questions to Brodrick Justice
Brod joined AGBC Munich in 2021.
Q1: Since when do you live in/around Munich? What brought you here and what is your business?
Munich has been my base for over 30 years, and now I’ve come to see it as home—it’s a truly wonderful city. My academic background is in psychology, artificial intelligence, and economics, though most of my career has been in IT. Unsurprisingly, artificial intelligence has once again become a major focus for me.
Q2: How did you learn about AGBC, what was your reason to become a member and why would you recommend to join?
I briefly met Larry when I first arrived in Munich, but it was some years later that Nick Walker introduced me to the AGBC.
I would recommend the AGBC to anyone looking to connect with a supportive and diverse community of business professionals. The AGBC events offer a unique opportunity to learn from many interesting people, including key business leaders. Highly recommended.
Q3: If you could choose one of the next AGBC event topics, what would it be?
The recent AGBC events have been excellent and have covered a wide range of topics, so it’s hard to think of a gap.
Perhaps a topic that combines psychology and economics would be cool? It would be interesting to not to explore questions like whether CEOs really tend to exhibit psychopathic traits 🙂, but also to generally understand why the public’s understanding of the economy is so easily influenced by media and political messaging.
Q4: What is your favorite spot/activity in Munich (or surroundings) and why?
There are so many great spots in Munich, but my favorite spot has to be sitting on my bicycle, maybe cycling along the Isar or through the Hofgarten on a warm summer night. It’s a wonderful way to experience the city. Then when it’s dark and cold, Munich still has some great bars, like the X-Bar in Lehel.
Thank you, Brod!
