SUMMARY:Transatlantic Innovation Week 2022: Women in Tech – How Diversity
  Fosters Sustainability and Green Innovation
DESCRIPTION:                  \n\nThe United States and Europe are
world leaders in technology and innovation. Female leaders serve as pivot
al role models who show women and girls how exciting\, sustainable\, and d
iverse the tech industry can be. Their success inspires generations of fem
ale students from schools and universities alike to be bold\, to create\,
to innovate\, and to consider careers in STEM.\n\nDespite the ongoing conv
ersation about gender diversity and equality\, women in tech are still und
errepresented\, underpaid\, and sometimes discriminated against within the
industry. It is on all of us to inspire change.\n\nAs part of Transatlant
ic Innovation Week 2022 and the Girl’s Day initiative\, this discussion
provides a chance to ask prominent female leaders questions about their ca
reers and how diversity\, equality\, and inclusion contribute to innovatio
n and a more sustainable future – supporting our goal to reach climate n
eutrality by 2050 and to make our planet cleaner for future generations.
