DESCRIPTION:\n\nMédecins Sans Frontières (MSF) translates to Doctors with
 out Borders. MSF provides medical assistance to people affected by conflic
 t\, epidemics\, disasters\, or exclusion from healthcare. MSF teams are ma
 de up of tens of thousands of health professionals\, logistic and administ
 rative staff - bound together by our charter.  MSF actions are guided by 
 medical ethics and the principles of impartiality\, independence and neutr
 ality. MSF is a non-profit\, self-governed\, member-based Organisation and
  was founded in 1971 in Paris by a group of journalists and doctors. In 1
 999\, MSF was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in recognition of its pioneeri
 ng humanitarian work around the world. Today\, MSF is a worldwide movement
  of more than 42\,000 people.\n\nThis evening we will hear a personal acco
 unt of the experiences of Dr. Solveig Gross during her deployment in Pakis
 tan. Dr. Gross studied medicine at the the university of Munich (LMU) and 
 has been practicing gynecology for 18 years. She has worked with MSF for 
 4 years.\n\nOn the occasion of this evening with Médecins sans Frontière
 s\, Peter Barkhurst of AIMS International will present a donation of € 1
 000 to MSF. This donation represents the net proceeds of the 2018 American
 /Bavarian Golf Tournament\, which was co-hosted/co-sponsored by AIMS Inter
 national-Germany GmbH and AGBC Munich on 2 June 2018.
